Veritas is the Nantucket High School’s Award-winning newspaper. Students write and produce the entire contents of the newspaper including design, photography, editing, pagination, and this website. Photoshop and Quark are the applications used to produce the paper.
Veritas will not accept advertisements that in any way promote discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, or sexual orientation, or an advertisement promoting a product banned in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Veritas shall not be liable for failure to print, publish, or circulate any portion of any issue of the paper in a circumstance in which that eventuality is out of the paper’s control.
Join Veritas!
Veritas welcomes all members of the Nantucket High School student body as members if they have qualified for participation in extracurricular activities, as defined in the student handbook (page 9). In order to become a member of the Veritas staff, contact an editor, drop by the Veritas room in the library (we have a sign) or email veritas.nhs@gmail.com.
Do not hesitate to join Veritas! We will accept any student, no matter his or her level of experience and skill. We work to create a supportive, wholesome, and welcoming environment for all members of our staff. Also, we have snacks.
Letters Policy
